HOW WE WORK
At The Dickson Design Group, we recognize the impact a well-designed home can have on one’s well-being. We also understand that embarking on a renovation can be an intimidating prospect. That's why we are committed to guiding clients every step of the way, from the initial consultation to the placement of that final accessory. Through years of experience, we have refined our internal systems to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience during the entire design and renovation process.
Design Process
Our three-phase design process guides every project, regardless of size, from initial consultation to final touches. We aim to stretch your design boundaries while providing the reassurance of our award-winning team and proven systems to navigate the journey.
Phase One focuses on concept design and permit acquisition. Here, we craft initial floor plans tailored to your family's specific needs. These plans along with the thoughtfully curated mood boards, lay the foundation for your project. Working closely with our permit team, we ensure compliance with engineering requirements and manage the permit process on your behalf.
In Phase Two, we build upon the foundation established in Phase One to develop the full design. Detailed drawing packages define every aspect of your new home, while careful selection of finishes, fixtures, furniture, and decor infuses each room with personality. We strive for a seamless flow throughout your home, incorporating bespoke pieces to create a space that is truly unique to your family's style
Phase Three marks the implementation of the carefully curated design plan. We provide contractors and trades with a comprehensive construction package, including detailed drawings and schedules outlining every detail of the renovation. Our integrated collaboration with the construction team ensures all parties are aligned and working towards the same end end goal.
